The Faculty of Psychology, Sociology and Social Assistance aims to become the first faculty of applied human sciences in the Republic of Moldova. Therefore, was reelaborated the entire curriculum structure of the educational offer, which was entirely organized according to the labour market needs from the Republic of Moldova and abroad.Our purpose is to train personnel of a new rank in psychology, sociology, social assistance and psychopedagogy able to involve in a competitive and dynamic social-economic context, possessing skills of theoretical analysis and practical involvement in solving different problems of the human being and the community.This is achieved through continuous improvement and implementation of curricular strategies taking into account the general principles and objectives of the Bologna Declaration and the National Qualification of Personnel of Higher Education: insuring the quality of the higher education, carrying out the training of personnel in three cycles – bachelor, master, doctoral, promoting students’ mobility, academic and administrative staff; reviewing the curriculum content in correspondence with the European dimension of higher education; extending continuously the training opportunities.A special importance we give to the implementation of modern educational technologies, based on increasing the student role in the assimilation of the program, the use of modern methods of information on teaching/learning/training, recovering practical elements, working with institutions, organizations and companies to strengthen its training profession.Our activity is based on principles, methods and modern educational technologies, taken from the practise of academic institutions in Europe, the U.S., adapted to the realities of the Republic of Moldova and the tradition of higher education in the country, the daily request over the current professionals of social psychology, psychopedagogy, sociology and social assistance. In order to continue modernization of curriculum content, effective realization of research, exchange of experience between faculty and the research centres in Israel, Germany, the U.K., the U.S.A., Romania, Russia etc.In conclusion, we don’t propose the impossible, but prepare young people for professional and social affirmation, which allow them to complete in the labour market that is becoming increasingly competitive, and, day by day harsher.
